Social Studies Grade 5:
The 5th grade social studies program focuses on the history and geography of ancient civilisations. The units of study commence with early humans and the transition from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to permanent settlements. The curricular units of study address the civilisations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Kush, and finishes with Moses in Sinai.
